What We Believe

The following are the core beliefs of the Community Church of Christ of Sloan based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

We believe in the One God who is revealed in Scripture as: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe God is the Creator of all thing and He intentionally created men and women for a purpose.

We believe Jesus is truly divine and the one and only living Son of God and our Savior.

Through Him, God opened the way of abundant and eternal life through His death, burial and resurrection. To all who call on His name.

We believe Jesus was miraculously conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.

We believe the Bible is the Word of God inspired by Him.
It is the final authority on all matters of faith and practice for Christians and the Church.

We believe in the sinful nature of man and his pre-disposition to sin. 

We believe in the atoning death of Jesus who died in our place on Calvary’s cross. 

We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ and His literal return to earth according to God’s plan.

We believe the mission of the church is to proclaim the Gospel to all mankind and exalt the worship of the One true God.
